As part of Robotics For Youth college talk series, students from University of Pittsburgh are sharing their experiences.
Revathi Pillai
Graduated from UPitt
Revathi graduated from UPitt with a major in Neruoscience and Anthropology and a minor in Chemistry. At Pitt, she was a Pathfinder, a Clinical Research Associate at the Multidisciplinary Acute Care Research Organization (MACRO), and she founded The Imagination Project (and organization that sends student volunteers dressed up as Children's characters to local pediatric facilities)! She also finished her thesis research through the Neuroscience Department, culminating in a paper on the activity distribution of VIP inhibitory interneurons in mice during behavior involving olfaction. Along with that, she made sure to take time to participate in various campus service events and explore the city!
